Young husked coconuts

In the tropics, young coconuts are very popular for their "water" and soft inner flesh which is gelatinous and slightly sweet when immature.
The fibrous outer covering of the fruit, which has been removed here, has many uses in the tropics. Bedding, firewood, thatch, brushes etc.
Mature coconuts have a hard inner flesh which is normally used in confectionery and cooking.
It is also used to create Coconut oil a highly desireable tropical oil. Recent health issues have lessened its demand.
