Uganda - Sipi Falls

August 2006. Sipi Falls is in eastern Uganda, near the Kenya border where water drains down off of Mount Elgon. We spent a weekend at Lacam Lodge at Sipi Falls and hiked down the canyon to the base of the falls up the other side and further upstream to the second falls.

These are excellent shots of my home area. I was born seven miles away from Sipi Falls, and I hope to save enough money to return to Uganda, and buy the entire 17acres or so of that surrounding land, and develop it as a working farm. I alos hope to build a Farmhouse (on English - Standards) model with about five double bedrooms and an enclosure with sheds for tractors,and other farm machinery, plus cowsheds and pig-sheds, and also afree range chicken enclosure.
