I live in Martock, Somerset, not all that far from Wells ~ in fact, Wells is one of our favourite places.
Congratulations on a fine collection of shots from Somerset!

Thank you so much for such wonderful photos. I have roll after roll of shots all around Bath and Wells to name just a few from the nearly one year I lived in Bath for school. Coming from California to England for the first time, I was all eyes. My friends who still live in Bath is the one constant connection I have there and wish to travel back soon.

Your site has brought back many memories (all good I might add) and will pass this on to others.

Wonderful pictures. Thanks for bringing back happy memories . As a kid ~ 50 years ago when I lived in the UK!! ~ we used to vacation in Dunster, just inland from Minehead. The train ride from Exeter to Minehead stays in my memory as though it was just yesterday. The view you have of the train entering one of the narrow cutting single line sections is absolutely the way it was. Despite the efforts of Mr Beeching ~ the transport minister of the day ~ the train ride to Minehead lives on!

It's a long time since I've taken a walk around Minehead and Bath. In fact I haven't been to Minehead since I was on holiday as a kid in 1969. Thanks for the trip. Great photos.
