The museum is housed in two lovely buildings.
The Royal Museum is Victorian and is about to be renovated. It contains a very interesting variety of exhibits.
The new extension is of very modern design and is devoted to the history and culture of Scotland.
We spent two days looking round and can thoroughly recommend a visit.
