Mothers of the World

I am not sure of how best to proceed with this gallery. the information is more important than the images, the images being a testament. This statue is at one of the main roads entering the centre of the City of Cardenas. This particular road was incredibly worn with deep ruts. In Canada, the road would have crumbled and sunk into oblivion, but somehow its still in good condition, except for those ruts.

Also cold weather would probable make it worse and they don't have that in Cuba. Superb story telling image. ~V~

Never saw sinkholes back in the 50's....and Cuba is back in the 50's....hmmmmm.Your image shows off the uneven road very well.Love the statue.
