Doug’s Photographic Journey


I have always wanted to do something where I could 'leave footprints in the sand'. This is my photographic journey, warts and all from the start of my portraiture in 2008. Feedback and comments are very much appreciated.

My work photography relates to the earthmoving/contruction industry where I have had several covers published/editorials and brochures published. However, earthmoving machines are rather boring and hence my shift to people and landscape photography.

Copying other peoples work style and images is the highest form of flattery so if you recognize similar styles or images...it was me who stole them!!!!Enjoy!

Currently I am building my portfolio and invite models to work with me on a 'Time for Prints/CD' basis. Hit me up with your ideas. If you do choose to work with me please check my references (can be found at http://www.modelmayhem.com/1226026 ) and I always ask for a friend to be present (at least on the first shoot). Models under 18 require their parents consent...or no shoot! There is never any pressure to shoot anything that the model is not comfortable with...just makes bad shots and a poor reputation is gained! The work here in my galleries has always been in collaboration with the models.
