Falkirk, Scotland is located at the junction of the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Union Canal. The main attractions are the Falkirk Wheel and remnants of the Antonine wall. The Falkirk Wheel is a rotating boat lift that joins the two canals. The two canals are separated by a vertical distance of 24 meters which was previously covered by multiple locks and took a considerable amount of time to traverse.
