Résumé: So far, 1st place at CCCX race #2 (beginner); 1st place at Sea Otter (beginner); 2nd place at CCCX #4 (expert, I missed the sport start, so took a chance and raced expert…there was only 3 racers. Ann kicked my but, but she’s AWESOME!); 1st place at CCCX #5; 5th at Napa Valley Dirt Classic (it was my first race as Sport and the first technical course I’ve ridden); 1st place at Mammoth Mountain Challege

Bikes I ride: MOUNTAIN: a breath taking Trek Fuel 110 full suspension. It’s my baby. I love this bike. ROAD: white with some grey and blue Giant TCR (it's pretty and super light).

How I support my Bike Habit: And it is a habit, let me tell you! But my boyfriend is the one who supports me. He cheers me on, pushes me, coaches me, bikes with me (and he’s fast, so trying to keep up with him makes me faster), and he buys and/or lets me have his biking gear. He got me my pink helmet and my pink glasses. He knows how to work the flare! Thank goodness I also have a full time job as an accountant to support my biking habit. Biking equipment isn’t cheep. But I’d rather spend my paycheck on a fork than a $400 purse. Call me crazy.

Best Time on the Bike: Every time I pass a guy..hehe. And the Mammoth Mountain challenge. That course is so fun.

Worst Time on the Bike: December and January 6am rides before work/school. It’s really a drag wearing 5 billion layers and having your snot freeze.

Grab Bag: Running use to be my choice of exercise/outlet/hobby. But after I discovered mountain biking (or actually just biking in general because nice road rides can be fun, too), I said bye-bye to my running sneakers.
