How I support by Bike Habit: I teach American Literature at Central Valley High School in Spokane, WA. Yes, I know I’m crazy—it helps my biking. I also have the best mechanic in the world—my husband!
Best Time on the Bike: Fisher Creek trail—Stanley, Idaho. Or—anytime I’m disappointed when the ride ends. Or—when I am so exhausted at the end of a ride that I almost can’t clip out, but I’m still smiling….
Worst Time on the Bike: Getting lost for 10 hours in the mountains with a separated shoulder in an area appropriately named “Cemetery Ridge.”
My Motto: “You guys ridin’?”
Favorite Post-Ride Food: Peanut butter and molasses sandwiches
