Best Time on the Bike: back roads outside Hanover, NH; Mineral Belt Trail in Leadville, CO (all those historical plaques along the way were a nerdy cyclist’s dream!)
Worst Time on the Bike: any time I bonk and begin the downhill slide into grouchiness and leaden legs when all I want is a hug and a few hundred calories; feeling like I’d never touched a mountain bike when first riding in Loma, CO and ending the day with one giant strawberry across my bottom
