That ugly bug eating the fly is called a flycatcher. It's one of the very few insects thats actually quicker than a fly. Just finished your hurricane flight. Great job on both galleries.

I feel really weird writing this but when something or some things make you stare in awe and bring these feelings of childhood nostalgia to your mind, it is only fitting that they be relayed to the person that brought them out. What a great collection of pictures! I am from Connecticut so I can relate to the pictures from New England, but the ones from other parts of our beautiful country are mesmerizing. The ones from WDW are great too! I only want to thank you for sharing these with the rest of the world. Thanks again!

I totally agree with Thor's comment. You demontrate that the eye of the photographer is far more important that the camera. This will help me to save money. (I intended to get a Canon 5d and throw away may Digilux; I change my mind !) I vote. Jean-Claude

Amazing photos. Your pictures taken with the Canon G2 are as good as the ones with the Leica. It goes to show, its not the camera, its the photographer. I wish I knew how you did it. Have you described your workflow anywhere? Thanks!

Now I guess I know why leica and carl zeiss lenses were famous. Most of your pictures were shot with a p&s leica digit camera. No scientific tests could tell why they are superior, only your eyes and your soul can tell. By the way, I used to have a Sony 707 w. carl zeiss lens. It was slow, not for mvt or sports, but it took gorgeous pics. A non professionl i.e non paid photographer. Once again, yr pics were great. Congratulation. Nangle.

Hey Scott, These are really awesome pictures you have taken. Photography is my hobby too and I aspire to take pictures like this one day. Do you have any tips for amateur photographers? Esp night mode. Mine is a Sony DSC P71 digital camera? Your Las Vegas photo is really great. Also, how is it that you are able to focus simultaneously on near and far objects - like you have done in the Las Vegas one? Is your camera an SLR? Is it possible to do that with a digital? Waht great pics!! I just bought a Canon G3 and I'm trying to learn the ropes. I'm looking for some direction on what is the best means of achieving good photos under a variety of circumstances. For example: 1. Sunset pictures 2. Night pictures 3. Backlit pictures I guess what I'm looking for is a little guidance on how set the right exposure and the best way to accomplish the desired result. The G# has a lot of capability but the Canon manual didn't describe any techniques. Any suggestions? Thanks.

These are some of the most fantastic images I have ever seen. They make me cry, honestly! They touch my heart! I would love to take pictures like You!!! If you can give me any pointers, please let me know! These are the kinds of pictures I want to take! I don't sell them or anything, just personal to keep and show others!
