Robert James Plunkett a 22 year member of the York Regional Police Service was killed in the line of duty Aug 02 2007. He was killed while investigating the thefts of air bags from motor vehicles. Two people are in custody. He leaves behind a wife Sonja, and three children Amanda, Jeffery, and Mathew.
