One of the advantages of being in Peace Corps service in Morocco is the close and inexpensive proximity to Europe. We live about 50 miles from the airport at Casablanca. Parts of Europe are so close that it takes us longer to take the train to the airport than it does to fly to either Lisbon or Madrid - under two hours. The first pictures in this gallery were taken during a trip to hike the Spanish Pyrenees in July 2013. The next group is from a trip to southern Spain and Gibraltar at the New Year holiday in 2013. Finally, there are pictures of Lisbon from November 2012.
