2007 Prescott

aka the "2007 Arizona Skyfest" in Prescott, Arizona..finally tried out the new 300 f/2.8 VR. Needless-to-say, very happy, left the 1.4x TC on for 420mm with no regrets. Also shot with the 300 f/4, another very sharp lense. Both are superb airshow lenses. The 2007 Prescott Airshow was extremely-well organized and no Phoenix-sized waiting lines.

Very nice shots. One thing for the future, for prop planes, slower shutter speed gives a little more bluring of props. Gives them the feel of motion. Makes for better shots.
