lovely lady..again :)
Wow, Stan, you did get a few bone-headed comments. First, why must they be brave enough to make comments (thinking they are important anyone cares what they think) and then follow it up by cowardly indentifying themselves as nothing more than a guest. *sigh*
I know this is one of your oldest galleries, but still good stuff! Happy to see it popular once again :)
Stan: Great work, Anastasia looks wonderful.
Yes I agree with your guest. I have beem through all your work . Some beautiful girls and some original stuff. Good for you trying new and different things. Keep it fresh and mixed this works well for you. Regards!
Thanks Guest. I don't mind at all. I know what I think and do, and I'm comfortable with it as my photo style and personality. The fact that my little website here has had 1.4 million hits since November speaks for itself.
We all start with nothing, then learn and improve from there. That includes those who criticize me or have some resentment of these beautiful women who model for me. The people who throw rocks usually can't take pictures themselves, so that's amusing too.
Everyone knows that Anastasia is beautiful and delightful, and she's a top model in Southern California. I let those comments stand so that those of us who appreciate her can stand up and defend her. I also let them stand because they might be honest feedback from one point of view, albeit reckless and rude. Maybe the kid just drank too much Starbucks espresso that morning and needed to vent or be mean to someone. All feedback is welcomed. If it's gratuitously rude or vulgar or disrespectful, then I'll delete it.
At least Timothy Cox had the fortitude to post under his real name, then was man enough to stand up and retract his statement after reconsideration. I respect him for that. The others who lurk and ridicule anonymously deserve no respect at all. They are being petty and vindictive about something. I'll bet they follow Anastasia around to her other online galleries and snipe at her anonymously there too. Just a hunch.
don't mind the people who are criticizing you. your style is just different from a lot of other photographers and you have plenty of people who do like the photos you display here.
Revisited this gallery to gaze at the lovely Anastasia, & Stan's wonderful work with her. Reading the critiques and visiting Tim's galleries, I reflected that perhaps model photography could be akin to monasticism, where you can clear your mind and narrow your focus more intently , as opposed to photography of family and friend gatherings, where it's exceedingly difficult, although not impossible, to produce imagery of appeal beyond the immediate participants. I think of Renoir and Degaus... This discourse was very eye-opening. Thanks to all.
What a total tool this Timothy Cox guy is. I think your gallery and galleries are great. I don't care that he "retracted" his comment. The fact that he made those comments in the first place boggles my mind, especially considering his atrocious galleries. Jeezus.
i wish to retract my previous post on this gallery. i had not realized at the time of my post how good a photographer Stan was. i did not look at his other galleries or even realize that he had so many. he obviously knows what he is doing and i don't. he has the time and experience that i would do a lot for. please disregard my previous comment as one of a person who judges without getting all the facts. it seems that i need to learn a lot more about photography before i do any major critiques of anyone else. no i did not write that anonymous post. again i wish to apologize to you and to your model for any offense taken from my comment. taking a closer look at the pictures i appreciate them a lot more. as TLR posted, it would be a good idea for me to take lessons in photography from you or any other photographer.
I have to disagree with Mr. Cox. I think this gallery is an example of a free-spirited shoot. I look at all the modeling galleries, and this works with the rest. Mr. Cox, you should take some lessons from this photogragher. I also looked at your gallery.
are you serious! i agree with the previous post. cheesy pictures and cheesy model. so you have a hot model who is willing to bare herself to the camera and an okay camera. big deal. it takes more than that for a good shot. one of the key things in any picture is emotion. if this gallery was one of candid shots of her, then it doesn't matter. it looks to me like you planned everything about these shots but the emotion. she is always smiling! what the heck! you can do other things than smile you know. definately does not get a vote or even a props. this gallery is an example of how not to do glamour photography.
erm...what to say...these picutres are very cheesy!
these look like they are poor imitations of some model's porfolio shots, except these photos have no subtle beauty or sexiness about them at all... shamefull!!!!!
Great imagination - Good work
Wow! Great Shots Stan...
Looks like you are still making the best of life, good for you
Where did you find this girl? She is adorable and sexy. What a find! You have a keen sense of photographic style, Stan.
To my dear anonymous "guest" in the next post: You talk like you know what camera I use. Are you stalking me?
cheesy photography at its best!
makes me cringe to think that just because someone has a bigger than happy snap camera, they can claim themselves to be a photographer, which gives them the right to take photos of scantily clad girls..
Stan - This is wonderful, provocative artistic nude gallery, tasteful, colorful, inventive and a visual dulcet. Lovely model! - Rudy
this gallery has my vote ... nice Job... exciting , fresh, youthful, playful all comes to mind ...
keep up the good work!
