Hi, How you like the Shen Hao TFC69-A? Does it has all the movement that you need? Is it as good as the 4x5? I am looking to buy a field camera but they are very expensive. So I like to do as much research on it as possible. Thanks for any comments that you might have.

Ray - I no longer have a darkroom, so Type 55 is perfect for my needs. Processing consists of a 3 min soak in Heico Permawash, 10 min water wash, dip in distilled water+photoflow, and then hang to dry. I scan the negs with an epson 3200 flatbed and print with an Epson 4000 to 16x20 using QuadToneRIP. Dust is no problem.

Hi Carl - glad to see other's trying out LF. You've captured some nice landscapes. I hope you don't mind me asking you a question... do you find Polaroid Type 55 easy to work with? I've always wanted to try this film but never had to equipment (polaroid back). Do you get a lot of dust on the negs & print? I'll be keeping an eye on your work ;)

Thanks Gary. I just started using 4x5 recently and althought it is quite a change of pace compared to digital shooting I find it more satisfying when it comes to making prints.

Thanks Mark. The original scans were made for printing 16x20 @ 360 dpi so the quality and detail in these reduced image sizes are not as good as the originals but the best I could do for web display.
