1982: Planted at residence on Gallagher Way in Olney, MD
1987: Tree transplanted to Queen Elizabeth Dr in Olney, MD
1982-2003: Tree managed by allowing it to die to ground, came up from roots each year
2004-2006: A number of shoots are selected and covered for winter
2007: After three years of covering for winter, attempt a test to see if tree can survive winter
