what I always admire in your photos is the lighting - you have a perfect control of it- the feeling is I am looking at paintings rather than photos - the post processing is definitely great as well, but none of this would be achieved without a great knowledge of light. Last night I watched a Romanian-German movie who had this particular feel - i thought of your galleries and decided to pay another visit today. V (unless I voted before)

You can imagine her shoulders shuddering, hear her cry. You just want to somehow go in there and hug this fragile person! You've really captured the essense of human emotions... and combined it with the background, the colour and the model. I even love the ickiness of that water! All these elements combined into one to create one magnificent, stunning, breath-taking work. Well done.

Unusual, but the vote preceded the comment. This is one of the most striking shots in the series. Most shots have a human element but this one is human with an element of decay and dereliction. Very strong.

Congrats, this is a blinder. I love it; the reflection is great and I really like the way you have split up the image with the darker areas, ie the wall and the window. Although it's not the most 'important' thing about the image, the backdrop really appeals to me because of this.

Really impressive. Such of fusion between the beauty and the decay. As opposed to a skin contact with solid material, the feet in water and the reflection makes a greater communion between them. The folded dress is also another link - belonging to both worlds.

oh Lawrence.. this is the best of them all.
Her feet submerged, meeting and melding with her reflection - one being lost without the other.
Despair is felt so deeply by the placement of her hands. I get the sense she doesn't care any more, given up, acquiesed to her emotions.
Bravo ... and if there is any photo that shows the beauty of your Fragment idea this is it - along with how well it shows off the 5D.

Her beuaty and emotion is so intense, what amazing contrast against the environment that she is surrounded by. It feels like the sadness of the environment is causing her emotion. I love the reflection, like a reflection of her deep reflections. Wonder and awe.
