We spent two days moving furniture around, getting ready to have new carpet installed. Dana said it would be a miracle if nothing got broken. Sure enough, after the new carpet was down, while we were moving things back, an oil lamp got broken.
The irony is that the whole reason we were getting new carpet in the first place was because the storms in April shattered a window and embedded glass in the old carpet.
You just gotta laugh.
