My guess is that it is a one-size-fits-all socket for a box wrench. Clues are the rust and the part of the ring in the upper left.

Ah...I see said the wise man...Nice work! I had no clue that was it.

Nope...be back tomorrow !!

It is a macro shot of a universal socket wrench which uses free floating pins to conform to the size of the socket in question.

I'm guessing ballbearings or something like that. Something involving liquid?
Jim G 26-Jun-2007 17:39
I think it's a variable wrench. the pins retract and fit around any bolt head. At least that's my guess.

it's a planet with lotsa moons

it's a mini revolver with several extra chambers so DB can shoot her tooth . . .or the DDS =)

Haven't a clue, but great pattern and textures!
Gary Winters26-Jun-2007 06:17
Obviously, it's a group of small round objects, surrounding one pretty large roundish sort of thing. D'oh!

Its allen, I sent you a private email with a pretty decent guess
Dave Wixx26-Jun-2007 03:18
I'll have to be back tomorrow. Intriguing.
Dana26-Jun-2007 03:16
I saw you taking this picture, and I still don't know what it is!

I am stumped. Mr. Hopps, on the other hand, refuses to give up. If he has a guess, I will post it.

Ball bearings inside of a wheel? Hell, I have no clue.

Sprinkler or shower head?
Bob Floyd26-Jun-2007 00:21
I am thinking this looks a bit like a burner on an old gas grill. Maybe? Huh?
