Waxahachie, Texas view map

This is the inside ceiling of the octagonal Waxahachie Chautauqua Auditorium, built in 1902.
While working in a magic show in the late 1980s, I had the privilege of performing in this historic theatre.

Today, it was very dim inside and I didn't have a tripod. So I had to brace the camera on the back of a bench for this shot. Therefore, it's not as sharp as it could be.

Pretty darn sweet for 3 seconds and no tripod! Got to love that built in Anti-Shake. Great lines in this, Scott. Really cool.

I forget that you once performed there. I really like the lines of that ceiling and the angle in which you framed. Nice shot.
