Today, a group of us went on a tour through a coffee processing co-op. Growers from various regions bring their beans to the co-op for processing, roasting, selling, and export. Costa Rica exports the best of their beans, consequently, the coffee they drink locally is second or third rate and really not very good. On the way back to the resort, we stopped at a local potter and also stopped to take photos of some wild howler monkeys we saw in the trees.
