It was the day after Hurricane Earl passed Cape Cod. We took a cruise on a fairly large catamaran out of Hyannis. It was supposed to be longer, but outside the breakwater, it got quite breezy and rough. The cat was "bottoming out", the high center part of the hull slapping the water as we bounced around, spray coming over the bow. So the Captain elected to abandon the original plan and head back in.

The windsurfers off of Kalmus Beach were having a blast, however, zipping around our boat. The wind was enough to make it hard to hold the camera, the boat was bouncing around, and I was using my 55-250 zoom near the long end most of the time. Thank you for IS, Canon!
