Saturday we had tickets at Rascasse, and Sunday we were just past Tabac. Early saturday we got to wander around a bit and see other parts of the circuit. I included a bit of the ...umm... lets say scenery ... around the harbor. Wish I had that longer lens I'd considered.

Saturday the had the F3 race and practice. It was odd to see the cars coming out for practice and qualifying, being driven in many cases by the mechanics, with passengers and spares aboard. The track is in the middle of the city, so the paddock area is separated from the race pits.

For variety, the F1 pictures are in no special order, Saturday practice or the race. I was mostly looking for interesting images of the cars.

Yeah, the fence was a pain, but it's better than having pieces land on you.

These were done on my second generation home made slide copier, then cropped, aligned, sharpened a bit in post processing.
