This Damsel let me get very close allowing 4x magnification.
The camera's lens was less than 2" from it's tiny face.
Taken handheld resting elbow on knee while squatting.

Fantastic! I know how difficult it is to get this amount of detail on a damsel face, but you and your combination have done a first class job.

Oh man.. if that was 2" away, it's about the same as the set up I'm using at 2X plus the Canon 500D. Not sure what the magnification works out to tho'.
