Unknown Bug

I've not figured out what this is yet.
It has very interesting coloration.

I found the same insect in Burke and posted the picture on iNaturalist. It was identified as the the asiatic oak weevil as noted above by Guest. It is invasive. You can also find it on BugGuide.

I had something crawling on my neck BUT when I took top off I noticed it had a LONG spike sticking out HORRIBLE
I'll see if I can send a photo on here

This was South Yorkshire Northern England UK !!!

Looks like the napweed bugs we have here in MT. They lay their eggs in the napweed, then the eggs hatch and the babies feed on the napweed. Love them! Helps lower our noxious weed population. Also their little clawlike hands ate really cool. If you let one crawl on your finger they grip hard enough to where you can't shake them off (doesn't hurt though :) ) Amazing pic!

it is a granary weevil. they destroy oats a lot! ;)
