Sandhill Crane Flight

Kensington Metro Park, Michigan

I was photographing Blue Herons in a tree when this Sandhill Crane flew into view.
Flight shots are difficult with this lens, especially with the 1.4x teleconverter,
but luckily out of three shots I took this one came out pretty good.

Yes, flightshots are tricky with this lens, but not impossible, not even att 800 mm. But a bit of luck and precise aiming is definitely required! Anyway, this crane shot couldn't be sharper IMO!! Well done buddy! (V)
