Experience the magic of River Street, where Georgia was first founded in 1733. Walk along historic cobblestone streets paved with ballast stones that once sailed in mighty ships. Explore the many delightful shops that line the street and tempt you with bargains from all over the world. Dine in style in charming restaurants located in converted nineteenth-century cotton warehouses.
We loved Savannah so much when my husband was stationed nearby, that we are planning to relocate in the spring from Cincinnati. The history and beauty is so rich. I can not wait to be back there!
this is awesome- i am partial to the water as i was born and raised at the beach south of LA, CA... but i could love this place by what you have here!

Thank for posting the pics. I moved away in '95 and haven't been back since. Moved due to work. I sure do miss it. Heck, I didn't even know there was a Westin Built there! I sure miss the days of Roller Blading through town or on River Street. This time of year when St. Patty is coming up I ALWAYS think of the many of good and very crazy times in Savannah...
Did I say I miss that place? Thanks again for sharing the great pics!
