To Mr. Noyes, I've been looking over this picture for awhile and am pretty sure this is not the old stone bank in Gypsum, ks. The picture was taken in Dwight Ks. The picture is looking at the bank in a westerly manner, the building immediately behind the bank is the post office, behind that is the now city hall (formerly the Dwight Beauty Shop), behind that is the old restaurant, then the grocery store, the grocery stores storage building, then the laundromat, and then finally the tiny bit of red brick in the far back right side of the picture is the present day bank. I use to work in Dwight some years ago and this looks exactly like it. I had been told someone had bought the stone building and was going to restore it, not sure it has made much progress in that direction yet. Please review this picture. I have also been through Gypsum Ks on several occasions and do not remember any visual picture like this in that town.
