Welcome to Sangster's photo album.
I'm not a professional. I just love taking pictures.
My motto... 'if you shoot as much as I do, you're bound to have one or two good pictures.'
Purchased my first camera in 1994. A Canon EOS 5 SLR with a Tamron 28-200mm F/1:3.8-5.6 AF Zoom lens. Then, I used a Canon EOS 3 SLR with several different lenses.
Only used to shoot print film at first... Then a mix of print and slide film followed by exclusive use of slide film.
My foray into the digital world was using a 3 mega pixel Sony DSC-P1 digital camera and the marine pack for underwater back in February of 2001. Loved the little thing. After shooting 4,000 plus pictures in little less than 9 months, the LCD on the camera burnt out.
My latest addition is a 8.0 mega pixel Canon 20D Digital SLR. The equipment as it stands now...
Canon EOS 20D with Battery Grip and 4 x Lexar 32X 1GB or IBM 1GB Micro Drive
Sigma 15-30mm/3.5-4.5 EX DG, Canon 50/1.4, 100-400/3.5-5.6L IS, 600/4.0L IS, Mk II 1.4x and 2x TCs
Gitzo 1348 Carbon Fibre Tripod, AcraSwiss B1 Ball Head, Wimberly SideKick, Wimberly and AcraTech quick release plates
Canon 550EX Flash and Better Beamer Flash Extender
