We took a 9 day trip to Costa Rica with Natural Habitat Adventures at the end of February with a group of 8 other people to photograph the birds and wildlife there. We saw 79 species of birds, including the beautiful Resplendent Quetzal in the Savegre Highlands - a pair was coming to its nesting hole which held 2 young babies. We saw several other Quetzals up the road from this nesting hole as well. We also saw Howler Monkeys, 2-Toed Sloths, a Peccary (wild boar), an Agouti, a few types of iguanas, the famous Red-eyed Tree Frog, Fruit and 2 other types of bats, Coatis, and captive snakes and butterflies, etc.
