Typically I found the dynamic range of the F30 rather limited (see Merced River shot). Plus foliage detail on F30 doesn't equal what the SD10 produces. Foliage, grass, leaves, such details are extremely important to me as a landscape photographer primarily.

DSCF0603 v.s. IMG06044 (especially if you switched to the chrome setting of the F30, to equal the juiced up SD10 :)
That little camera more than holds it's own -- even at iso 100, and it just wipes the floor with the SD10 at 400 and above.
