This is a High Dynamic Range composite of five RAW images taken one stop apart using Automatic Exposure Bracketing. The images were combined in software using Photomatics from HDR Soft, using a technique called Exposure Fusion. The purpose of the technique is to expand the dynamic range of the image beyond what is possible from a single capture.
