These were taken on a recent trip to Chimney Rock and Boone, NC. Most of the landscapes were taken with the EF 17-40 f4L sporting a B+W Circular Polarizer. Many of the waterfall shots were taken using a Hoya ND8. All of the images were shot in RAW and post-processed in PSCS. Some wide dynamic range shots were digitally blended using multiple RAW exposures. Sites included Chimney Rock Park, Lake Lure, Hickory Nut Falls, Pearson Falls, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain and Mount Mitchell, the highest peak (6,680 feet) east of the Mississippi.
