Valley View - HDR

Yosemite, California

Here's the valley view shot again, but using HDR this time. I'm new to HDR, and still
experimenting with how I want to use it. HDR seems to let me draw out more detail, depth
and over all color quallity compared to what I was able to get from the non-hdr shot. You?

other sizes: small medium original

Sandi, just an outstanding photo. Nice way of bring out the best in a photo with HDR. I honestly believe that a photo is a work of art in the eyes of the photographer and working with a photo is the artist coming out in them. Everyone sees differently but your photos are excellent in all aspects... Thanks for sharing your work...

I really do think you've already got the hang of the HDR...some can get pretty crazy, a bit over the top. I'm going to have to test the HDR waters one of these days...I love the end results. This shot is stunning Sandi!

Nice job on the HDR to where it does not look overly done, Sandi. I agree that there is a perceptible increase in depth over the non-HDR version.

HDR images do tend to look a bit surreal compared to normal images, which is fine if that is what you are going for. This on is noticeably HDR but not overly surreal. It is a wonderful composition. V
