Repeating Doorways in the Quarters

Fort Point, San Francisco, CA

This long fort makes for some fun photo play, with many repeating doorways and hallways, like the
previous shot in this gallery of the open bricked corredors of the fort. It was warmer shooting this shot
than shooting in the open corredors, but not by much. Soldiers passed some chilly nights in these rooms.

A very captivating shot, Sandi. Besides the obvious depth created by the multiple doorways, the geometrics and contrasting colors of the side-lit rooms makes the photograph a classic. Excellent work!

Technical excellence here. I stared at it for so long that it flattened out and became pure shape, then it seemed to reverse and was coming at me instead of receding. It was weird. I have not been drinking or anything. :) Great shot.
