We were all formally dressed-up with neckties (one of the more unimpressive inventions of Western civilisation?). Normally we never wore ties. Muhammed Mahfudh also got this brilliant idea that we should all bring sunglasses to look snazzy. We never used those either. I had to borrow a pair from my father. So here we are, all smarted up.
