I like the MP-E alot but you have to be careful of your expectations. It is a close up lens and can only do very small objects. You cant even due a whole quarter it wont fit even at 1x. The other thing is you will need a macro flash. I have the 24EX which is great. It allows you to run at f16 and a 125tv for shake. At 5x you have to be pretty close to the subject too. Good luck with it, I will keep an eye on your gallery for the pics! Thanks for the comments
great pictures -- love the drops. I have been taking bug pictures too, using a Canon 300D with a 100mm macro lens and lots of ext. tubes. I ordered an mpe-65 last night and can hardly wait to get it. How do you find the mpe lens compares to a regular macro lens in terms of ease of use, depth of field etc. ?
