This is a photo of my late grandmother, taken in 1995. She was 91 years old
at the time. She had become very forgetful, and exhibited signs of Alzheimer's disease,
although never diagnosed. Thai's just say the person is "lost" and accept this as a natural
part of the aging process. However, right to the very end, she never forgot to go out there
every morning, and give her offerings to the monks that passed by.
