Bay To Breakers annual San Francisco race (second Sunday of May, May 16th this year) has been running since 1912. The 12k race sees about 70000 participants. Although the race is run by serious athletes most participant use the event as one giant party. Among the highlights are the extravagant costumes don by the racers and a few brave ones who bare it all.
Hope you enjoy the photos...

You have some very good photos. I did the race for the third time (naked each time) and am planning to do it again. Where else in the world will you fine so many costumes (mine was a collar and a leash and a lady friend in black leather walked me) with so few restrictions. Again- good job.
