The Dallas Zoo recently created a campsite with 5 large tents, a firepit, and a presentation stage. These photos were captured during the inaugural overnight Photo Safari. Participants arrived at the Zoo about 5:00 p.m., stowed our camping gear, and photographed in the Giants of the Savanna area until 8:00 p.m. We dined, shared photos in a slide show, then retired to our tents. We rose at 6:15, had wonderful breakfast pizzas, then photographed lions, gorillas, and tigers until mid-morning.
