This machine (we named it the 'Jolly Green Giant') is a P&H 2500 Hydraulic with a Young logging front and big Young 68" grapples.
It was purchased new by Boise Cascade's White Swan, Washington Operation and wore that name right above the counterweight from
new until it was scrapped in 2002. I aquired it from a logger at Vail who was frustrated and wanted to sell everything off and get out.

Looking back, he was far smarter than I was just for that reason...Anyway we used this machine both at Vail and White River
Tree Farms and she would lift a huge log and reach way out too. The tracks were D9 sized and a nightmare if one came off.
