We were down in southern California visiting friends over Easter weekend and decided to finish off the weekend by driving to Phoenix (a place we've never been) to check out the climate/culture. With as much as I travel, we used my freq flier miles and points to get flights and hotel for free so we stayed at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess since we love other Fairmont properties.

What surprised us was the sheer number of kids there. Perhaps it was Easter weekend but we're not sure. Could be one of the 4 pools that have two long water slides :-) Anyway, because of this, we discovered a secret sanctuary - the Willow Stream Spa. In addition to the spa, it has it's own workout facilities, dining area, and best of all, an adult-only pool on top of the building. Awesome space and very quiet while we were there.
