It is totally worthwhile! The whole area is amazing, going against our brain's ingrained sense of what a landscape should look like. It was not too crowded when I was there in May, but during the high Dec/Jan season, it may well be.

Hi yvess. I really wanted to see this when I was in thailand recently but I never got the chance. was it worthwhile or a bit too crowded and touristy?
