Okay sports fans, of the 43 of you who looked at *my last post * two correctly identified it as part of the rear wheel mechanism on my sports bike. That bike now belongs to Gary Winters who dropped by today to pick it up after we had lunch together.

Wow...what a handsome...bike! Thanks, Robin. I'm already scouring the internet for information on the bike, and have pumped up those tires and given it a little test ride. This will be perfect for some trail riding this summer.

I missed the earlier shot but I would have guessed "...a rear wheel mechanism from a sports bike". Gary looks happy with his new bike.
