What is missing?

Rancho Bernardo, CA

For those of you who followed the dramatic events of the Rancho Bernardo fires, you know that my home came through relatively unscathed.

However I did suffer an important loss. Can you tell from this picture what it was? (Hint – I have posted earlier photos of my home elsewhere on my PaD.

The first kid to get it correct wins a week of focused constructive feedback from me on images of your choice. ;-) If that doesn’t appeal just consider yourself smart. Put your “entries” into comments as private.

As of 7 p.m. PST several people got it "right" Laine was the first (perhaps the difference in time zones gave her an edge. ;-)

The correct answer is here http://www.pbase.com/rtwo/image/86471723

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM

Well now, since I am the Kid, I spect I better answer correctly. I seem to remember some waterfront property and a helicopter.

Terrific shot. I confess: I've looked at earlier photos and can't discern what is missing... :(

@JHR...just to save anyone else the grief.... (and noting that she is too funny) ... let me say that she is incorrect.
