We spent a varied day which started with a drive up to the ski area East of Santa Fe so Rennie could do a little training for a hike/bike ride. Then we ate lunch downtown in a lovely patio restaurant enjoying the warmth of the sunshine softened by a gentle breeze. In many ways I have enjoyed the al fresco dining here more than anything else.
Then we did some touring around town including a spin around the Plaza, a visit to Museum Hill and then two commercial galleries. At all these locations I was charmed by the metal sculptures, and felt quite fortunate to have my picture taken with Mark Twain.
And speaking of that, tomorrow I am off to Taos for a day, then north to Colorado Springs which will be my primary area of residence for the summer.
