Very nice Robin.

I like the mix of old and new in this.
Guest 13-Aug-2004 21:57
Who stuck that modern monstrosity into the background of your photo? :)

Very ncie Robin - the B/W works really well with this image. I like the texture!

Beautiful in B&W. The building in the foreground has wonderful texture.

This is beautiful, Robin... and it works well in monochrome.

Lovely b&w! It looks like a delightful place to dine.

me neither . . I only saw the building in the foreground . . had my "office filters" on I guess =]

I honestly didn't even notice the office building in the background until I read the comments below! I was so focused on the subject -- very nice shot, Robin. I like how you can even see the people dining through the windows. Excellent detail.

What a great looking restaurant, looks like low tide. Also looks like you had a great day Sat.

Good job, Robin. LIke it in black and white. I took one of this restaurant once and did a duotone in blue/white which came out pretty good. I like your work on this one.

Jypsee I did some work with levels but the primary shift came from something I learned from dazedgoneby .. seehttp://www.pbase.com/image/28189845

All of a sudden I'm into B&W as well. I think it was the super self portrait that Mark Hemhauser did...this is really nice. Do you use Photoshop and do you have a recipe?
Karen Leaf02-Aug-2004 00:40
Tell them to tear down that glass building. (j/k). B/W really gives it a weathered look. My kind of place. I'll take that corner table at 7:00p or so.

Nice shot, never looked at it from this angle.
Guest 01-Aug-2004 23:30
Good eye Robin and I agree with Russ, the new office building looks out of place next to this quaint little restaurant!
Guest 01-Aug-2004 23:27
I love the juxtaposition between this quaint restaurant, and the modern office building in the b/g. Beautiful processing, too!

Really nice robin... Love the subject and the post processing is great.
