I am thinking about buying Nik Software Silver Effex Pro. Have you tried it? Do you recommend it?

A nice mono conversion Robin. Works well for me. I have recently purchased the SEP software and I am looking forward to using it.

I have it Robin,it is a good software, but it has too limited functions to my opinion. Some of the templates are just too fancy. Give a try to Alien Skin's Exposure 4, it offers much more possibilities and simulates ancient film resolutions in color and in B&W.

I like this...can't speak about the SEP as I've not used it.

I had it and liked it a lot. I like the "pin point" picker adjustments and many of the "film filters". I've been thinking of going back to it too.

I eo like what I see but would like to see a little more contrast in the B&W with the blacks and whites. Nice work on both!
