I often spend time studying Photoshop tutorials (even if my work doesn't always show the results), and this weekend I've been looking at one by Deke McClelland on Lynda. This shot is my effort to apply some of the things he was talking about (b/w conversion, removal of distracting background etc.)

I also enjoy digging into the myriads of my stored photos on my backup drive, rotting away in pixel land.

It is also a sub-rosa test to see if Slugs servers survived the storm. I guess they must have ;-)
